Burnley Blues

The major event at the Mechanics is the Burnley International Rock and Blues Festival; this years event has just taken place and saw blues fans flocking into a Burnley transformed into ‘Little America’ with events taking place across the town in pubs, clubs and cafe’s. National and International Blues artists and bands appeared including headliner Jimmy Vaughan on the Mechanics main stage. Once the organisers have got their breath back planning will start for the 25th anniversary festival in 2013 continuing the success of the longest running Blues Festival in the country.
